I just realized that it’s been awhile since I did a post. This is why I am not a professional blogger, I would soon be unblogged.
One new thing I want to mention before I begin my rambling is that our Blade Sharpening has changed. Richard is still going to be here every 2nd Saturday but if you cannot stop by then, you can always drop off your items before that day and he will call you when they are done. You can pick them up again at your convenience. Scissors, knives or tools, prices vary depending on the item.
We made it though our first holiday season on the plus side! Not bad for only being open since September. Winter is here now and things are quiet but that is a good time to catch up and evaluate on how things are going. We had a couple vendors move out and a couple move in, that is how retail flows. We will miss Janet and her birdhouses, Angela and her stuffed toys, and Sierra and her keepsake jewelry. Angela is going to teach beginning sewing to kids here (let me know if you need info on classes). Janet is going to continue to do shows and Sierra is opening her own space, so it’s all good. We welcome our new vendors, you will see them in our videos and pictures from our Facebook page.
Diane was busy taking care of the store sales and her custom orders! She made holiday aprons for everyone at Cafe 327 in Hendersonville as well as a Sun Bonnet Sue throw (was so cute!)
I managed to finish all my orders before Xmas! with time to spare! and help out a friend a little with his orders. So any year that happens is a good holiday season for me. Still cannot share any of those pics until I am sure they all have been gifted.
Anywho, now it is January. Sharon Voorheis taught her first class here and I think it went well.
A mom and daughter spending some time together before the daughter went back to school. Didn’t they do a great job! This was the first in a series. Every 3rd Saturday, so let me know if you are interested. Here is the next one:
We do have more classes in the works: jar pin cushion; t-shirt throw available in March. Children’s beginning sewing and One-on-One Nine Patch beginning quilting are available now. If you would like info on any of our classes or events, please use our contact page or check out our Facebook page
Also, we are planning another SipNShop night March 14! Have a glass of wine while you shop from 6:30 to about 8:30.
Hopefully, it will not be so long before I update you again on what’s going on. If you have any questions, comments or just want to share a pic of your quilt (we love, love show and tell) use our contact page!
